Summary
One More Gun is designed as a local-first, private firearm inventory, maintenance, and range-log app. The app does not require an account, does not include ads, does not sell personal data, and does not upload firearm records to a TenXsecurities server.
Information You Enter in One More Gun
You may choose to enter firearm names, photos, serial numbers, notes, maintenance logs, range sessions, target scores, goals, and badge progress. This information is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share it, or explicitly allow the optional AI processing described below.
Photos, Camera, Microphone, and Notifications
- Camera and photo-library access are used to add firearm photos and assist setup using on-device recognition.
- Microphone access is used only when you start range-session listening for shot-count estimates.
- Local notifications may be used for maintenance reminders if you enable them.
Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. TenXsecurities LLC does not receive your full payment card information. Apple may provide purchase status information needed to unlock Unlimited firearm profiles.
Backups and Exports
If you export your data, One More Gun creates a user-controlled backup file. You are responsible for where you store or share that file. Backup files may contain sensitive firearm inventory details and photos.
Optional AI Assistant
In versions that offer the optional Assistant, ordinary recordkeeping still works without an AI account. If you connect your own ChatGPT/Codex or Grok/xAI account and explicitly allow AI requests to that provider, your messages, current screen, record identifiers and relevant retrieved fields are sent directly to that provider to answer questions or propose app changes. Retrieved fields can include firearm names and specifications, round totals, dated range sessions and target scores, maintenance history, goals and challenges. Requests are associated with your connected provider account. TenXsecurities does not operate an AI chat or firearm-record server.
Sharing session and maintenance notes is separately controlled and off by default. The Assistant tools exclude photos, serial numbers and private inventory notes. Anything you type or paste into chat is sent as written, including private details you choose to include. Earlier messages and retrieved fields may be resent within the same conversation.
Chat history is held in app memory and is not included in backups. New chat or changing connections clears the app conversation. The selected provider may retain submitted data under its own policies and your account settings; clearing a chat, disabling sharing or disconnecting in One More Gun does not delete copies already held by that provider. Review the OpenAI privacy policy or xAI privacy policy and use their account controls for retention, training preferences, revocation or deletion.
Authorization credentials and optional API keys are stored in this device's Keychain, not in record backups or chat messages. Device authorization can identify the public client as Codex or Grok Build. Provider eligibility and limits apply. Subscription requests never automatically switch to separately billed API credits. API-key connections, when selected explicitly, require confirmation before each paid request.
The Assistant proposes record changes for you to review and confirm. Photos, camera, audio recording, file selection, sharing, provider sign-in and Apple checkout use the app or system controls; opening those controls is not confirmation that an action has been completed. You can disable AI requests or disconnect in Settings at any time.
Website Data
This website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, request logs, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. TenXsecurities LLC does not use third-party advertising cookies on this website.
Data Sharing
TenXsecurities LLC does not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and security, or to operate services through providers such as Apple and Cloudflare.
Children
One More Gun is not directed to children. Firearm ownership and range activity are adult responsibilities and must comply with applicable law.
Security
One More Gun is designed to keep records local to your device, but no software or storage method is perfectly secure. Use device passcodes, biometric lock features, and careful backup storage for sensitive inventory information.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app and website evolve. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
