Common questions

• How do I use the AI Assistant?
  Open Assistant and connect your eligible ChatGPT/Codex or Grok account. Ask about saved sessions, rounds, or maintenance; request record updates, goals, or challenges. Review and confirm changes before saving. AI is optional, selected messages and record fields go to your chosen provider, and provider access and billing are separate. Photos, sign-in, file selection, sharing, and purchases use native screens.
• Where is my data stored?
  Records are stored locally. Exports, sharing, or consenting to the optional Assistant can send selected information outside the app.
• Does One More Gun sell firearms or ammunition?
  No. One More Gun is a private recordkeeping app and is not a marketplace.
• Is shot detection exact?
  No. Audio detection is an estimate. Review and edit the count before saving a range session.
• How do I back up my data?
  Use Settings in the app to download a JSON backup. Store backups carefully because they may contain sensitive inventory details and photos.
• What does Unlimited unlock?
  One complete firearm profile is free, with all current recordkeeping features. Unlimited removes the firearm-profile limit with one payment and no renewal. The price is shown in your local currency in the app before purchase.
• How do I restore Unlimited?
  Open Settings in One More Gun and tap Restore Purchases using the Apple Account that made the purchase. An active existing monthly or yearly subscription can also be restored.
• What happens to an existing subscription?
  It continues to provide unlimited profiles while active and renews until canceled in Apple Account settings. Canceling renewal keeps access until the paid period ends. A one-time Unlimited purchase does not automatically cancel an existing subscription.
